New Prescription Drug Drop Box for the South Valley

Sheriff Manuel Gonzales, III, the Partnership for Community Action, U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and Commissioner Maggie Hart Stebbins today announced the installation of a new prescription drug drop box in the South Valley, a tool that allows the community to safely dispose of unused and outdated medications.

Community Welcomes New Tennis Courts at Washington Middle School

On Oct. 1, 2016, the community welcomed the completion of four new junior tennis courts at Washington Middle School. More than 10 businesses and nonprofits joined forces to raise about $35,000 to transform two unused concrete slabs at the school into four new junior tennis courts.
